Bethel Senior Living is a full senior living campus in Selma, built so residents can move through three levels of care without leaving their home or the people they know. Three communities share the same grounds on Dockery Avenue: 36 independent living cottages, a 33-bed assisted living residence, and a 59-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Neighbors keep their friends, their staff and their routines even when their care needs change.
A tour is the honest way to see it. You will walk through a cottage, sit in the dining room, meet the people who work here and ask the questions that are hard to ask over the phone. Plan on about an hour and bring whoever helps you decide. We show real cottages and real rooms, not a staged model, and we tell you plainly what we do and do not offer.
Good senior living should not mean a hard financial decision every month. Our rates are set to be fair and simple to understand, and what they include is spelled out in writing before anyone signs.
Every service here is built around the people who live here. Staff know residents by name, meals are prepared fresh in our own kitchens, and help is close by when it is needed. Quality shows up in the small daily things, not just in a brochure.
Every tour follows the same paths our residents use each day. Here is what we will show you, and who you will meet along the way.
Each cottage has two bedrooms, two baths, a living area and a kitchenette with a breakfast nook. We open an available one so you can see the real space.
Lunch is served seven days a week, with a continental breakfast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sit down in the dining room and try what is on the menu that day.
Walkable streets,shaded patios and parking at your own door, all behind controlled access. You will see where residents gather outside and how easily they get around.
Licensed nurses are on campus around the clock in skilled nursing. Assisted living residents receive medication support and daily well-being checks from our care staff.
Before you leave we go over the levels of care, what each one costs and what your family may qualify for. Bring your questions about Medicare, Medi-Cal and long-term care coverage.
